Renée Alsarraf, DVM, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology)
Dr. Alsarraf became the director of Veterinary Cancer Services at AERA in 2002. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1991.
Dr. Alsarraf became the director of Veterinary Cancer Services at AERA in 2002. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1991. While she was a student there she established the University's Pet Loss Support Group, and that group continues to help bereaved pet owners today.
After receiving her Doctorate, Dr. Alsarraf completed a one-year internship, an oncology residency, research studies and additional radiation therapy training at the Animal Medical Center in NYC. She also participated in additional research studies at Memorial Sloan Kettering and received additional radiation therapy training at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Alsarraf has authored several journal articles and oncology texts and has participated in many oncology studies in conjunction with Cornell University.
Seth Glasser, DVM, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology)
Dr. Glasser is a much anticipated and recent addition to Animal Emergency and Referral Associates. He graduated from Tufts University in 2007, with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Glasser completed a small animal internship at the University of Minnesota. He did a combined oncology residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and Yonker's Animal Specialty Center.
Dr. Glasser has authored several journal articles. He greatly values the relationship he has with his patients and clients. In his free time, Dr. Glasser enjoys traveling and cooking.
