Dar Ozer DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Cardiology)

Cardiology

Dr. Dar Ozer is a board certified veterinary cardiologist by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Ozer grew up in the tri-state area and has worked in the veterinary field since high school. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 2011 before completing a rotating internship in Internal Medicine and Surgery, a cardiology specialty internship, along with a residency in medical and interventional veterinary cardiology at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists in Bohemia, NY. Dr. Ozer’s interests include complex congenital heart diseases, interventional cardiology, management of congestive heart failure and complex cardiac arrhythmia interpretation and treatment.

In her spare time, Dr. Ozer enjoys spending time with her tuxedo kitten and 15 year old three-legged Yorkshire terrier. She grew up riding horses and teaching therapeutic riding lessons. She is an avid fan of the Michigan State Spartans and also enjoys spinning, CrossFit, skiing, yoga and cooking.
