Jamie Rose Huselton, DVM, grew up in Jefferson Township, NJ. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal & Dairy Science from Mississippi State University. During this time, she spent several summers working as a veterinary technician at AERA and quickly discovered her passion for emergency medicine. Dr. Huselton then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. After completion of the Catalyst Program through Compassion-First Pet Hospitals at the Veterinary Referral Center outside Philadelphia, she was excited to join the emergency team again at AERA. She has special interests in neurologic emergencies, toxicities, and wound management. Outside of work, Dr. Huselton enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, traveling, and spoiling her beagle, Addie.
