Dentistry & Oral Surgery

Dr. Jin W. Jung is a board-certified veterinary dentist.  He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University with magna cum laude and completed his clinical year of training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet).  After graduating, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a multi-specialty hospital in Pennsylvania.  Dr. Jung then returned to Penn Vet to complete an additional three years of residency in dentistry and oral surgery.

As a veterinary dentist, Dr. Jung strongly believes that dental and oral health is crucial to keeping animals happy and live healthy longer lives.  His goal is to always deliver care with compassion and empathy, with the end goal of helping his patients achieve the highest quality of life possible.  His special interests include working dogs, patients suffering from maxillofacial trauma, and geriatric patients suffering from chronic dental disease.

In his spare time, Dr. Jung enjoys cooking and traveling with his wife, two children, and rescued fury child, Penny.  He is also bilingual and fluent in Korean.
