Heidy Pardo received her Bachelors in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015. After graduation, she worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at local general practices. Shen then decided to work as a lab animal technician in a molecular genetics laboratory at Duke University, to study Cerebral Cavernous Malformations using murine models. Following her time at Duke, Dr. Pardo pursued a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University and finished her clinical year at The Ohio State University. In her spare time, Heidy enjoys spending time with family and friends, and dancing Salsa.
