Surgeon
Dr. Laura Culbert grew up in Northern New Jersey and has practiced in New Jersey for over 17 years. She completed a master’s degree from Rutgers University, graduated from Cornell University with a veterinary degree, and completed an internship and surgical residence at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. She became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2000. Dr. Culbert enjoys all aspects of surgery but has a keen interest in orthopedics, thoracic surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and exotic animal surgery. Outside of small animal species, she has done surgery for many zoos in New Jersey, with a focus on large cats. For fun, Dr. Culbert enjoys cooking and entertaining, gardening, crafting, and traveling. She enjoys people, as well as animals, and loves to laugh.
