On Saturday, March 26th, Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) officially celebrated the opening of their brand new specialty & emergency veterinary hospital with a grand opening event. The celebration took place in the hospital’s continuing education center and included hospital tours led by doctors and staff, food and drinks, a basket raffle, and other activities. Total event attendance was around 65 individuals, including members of the local veterinary community. Also in attendance were the Mayor of West Caldwell, Joseph Tempesta Jr., along with the city council president and another city councilman.
Event sponsors included Hills Pet Nutrition, Antech Diagnostics and Sound Imaging, Wedgewood Pharmacy, Elanco and Hamilton Pet Meadow.
AERA is located at 975 Bloomfield Ave, West Caldwell, NJ 07006 and offers advanced specialty in addition to 24/7/365 emergency veterinary care. The brand new 47,000 square foot veterinary facility is located less than a mile down the road from their former location. This newly constructed, much larger, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital allows us to offer expanded service capabilities to best serve the needs of the pets in our community. Founded in 1977 and AAHA accredited since its inception, AERA has been providing high quality veterinary care in the North Jersey area for over 40 years.
